Reimbursement for Remote Start Repairs

If you feel your vehicle is running undesirably or if you simply have questions we would encourage you to contact our office to schedule an evaluation before you consider taking it to any other shop. We count on you as a customer to contact us if any undesirable operations occur so we can better them in your vehicle as well as others to come.

Remote Start & Stereo will not offer reimbursement for any towing, diagnosis, repair, adjustments, or modifications made by anyone but our shop. All towing, diagnosis, repair, adjustments, or modifications must be made by our shop to be covered under any warranty we offer. If you have any towing, diagnosis, repair, adjustments, or modifications made elsewhere those costs will be the sole responsibility of the customer. We will not be responsible for those fees.

If we evaluate the vehicle and we determine that a repair is necessary, and it is directly related to the installation of the Remote Start it will be covered under warranty. We will make the repair at no cost. The customer will not be responsible for any cost.

If we evaluate the vehicle and we determine that a repair is necessary, and it is not directly related to the installation of the Remote Start it will not be covered under warranty. We can make the repair at our hourly shop rate. The customer will be responsible for the costs. These costs will be discussed before any work is performed.

If we evaluate the vehicle and we determine that a repair is necessary, and it is directly related to the installation of the Remote Start, but the repair must be made by someone other than our shop (Dealership). it will be covered under warranty. The customer will not be responsible for the costs. These costs will be discussed before any work is performed as well.

Any repairs made to the vehicle by us, or any shop other than us, that are not related to the installation of the Remote Start will not be covered under any warranty and will be the sole responsibility of the customer. This will be discussed before any work is completed.

We at Remote Start & Stereo strive to continually study new technologies as they become available however sometimes situations occur and can cause unwanted results that are beyond our control.

Crimestopper Product Warranty

Unit has a limited Lifetime Warranty from defects. Warranty covers original purchaser, in the original vehicle installed, non-transferrable. All warranties expressed cover the product itself from defects. The labor to remove and replace the product is NOT considered part of this warranty. The customer will be responsible for the fees associated with the repair and/or replacement of the defective parts. These costs will be discussed before any work is performed. Extended warranties are available for purchase at the time of sale. Coverage is available for Parts and Labor, However they are not standard.

Remotes carry no warranty, however if they are inoperable due to manufacturer defects we will replace them free of charge at Remote Start & Stereo’s discretion. Warranty is void if uninstalled or serviced by anyone other than Remote Start & Stereo.

Compustar/Arctic Start Product Warranty

Unit has a limited Lifetime Warranty from defects. Warranty covers original purchaser, in the original vehicle installed, non-transferrable. The customer will be responsible for the fees associated with the repair and/or replacement of the defective parts. These costs will be discussed before any work is performed. Products sold though Remote Start & Stereo carry a warranty through their respected Manufacturers. Each manufacturer has stipulations on their warranty’s, you must consult them for full details. Carry-In Products & Labor Costs

Remote Start & Stereo offers NO Warranty for products purchased elsewhere. This means the owner and/or the manufacturer of the product is responsible for replacements, operation, and/or warranty information. Remote Start & Stereo will service your products at our shop rate. Labor costs for replacement of defective products are not covered under any warranty. Labor costs can be accrued when warranty work is performed unless otherwise stated.
